Vehicle Detail

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY AND FULLY!! For sale I have a 1984 Ford Bronco II. This little Bronco has had no restoration so its not perfect, but for its age it is in very good overall shape. This is one that you could purchase and restore, or with a little time and love make into a very practical and reliable daily driver. I purchased it in the spring of 2009 as used it as my daily driver until June of 2010 before putting it into indoor storage until just last month. I have all records of what I personally have done to it written down in my service log book. Not sure on actual mileage. Odometer reads 72,000 but very well could have rolled over. When I purchased it the engine had been recently rebuilt (I do have paperwork) by the previous owner on top of everything that I have done myself including but not limited to The Good: •New ball joints •New front spindle seals •New front u-joints •New inner spindle seals •Repacked front wheel bearings •New polished aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich mud tires •New KC long range lights •Grille guard •Splash guards •Spare tire •Professional alignment •New fuel pump •New distributor rotor •New belts •New Bosch platinum sparkplugs •New coil condenser •New oil pressure sender •Rebuilt rear drive line This is just the major items that I have noted in my log book. Its had various other components replaced such as switches, lights and other small components as well that need not be noted. The Not so Good: As I mentioned in the introductory statement this little Bronco has a few issues here and there and is not absolutely perfect like some of the other ones you might see on here for sale. First of all, it has been driven and enjoyed. Don't take that the wrong way though. Most people who say that beat the crap out of them and don't think twice. What I mean when I say that is that it has road wear. It has rock chips, dings, dents and even a small nickel sized rust spot. All things that would be expected from a 31 year old vehicle. It has also been in storage for 5 years and we all know what that does to cars. It leaks a few things here and there. It looks like it had a visor on it at one point in life so there are some old rivets showing. The headliner sags. The radio isn't the best. The key and tumbler doesn't function properly like many old Fords so it has a push button in the cab. The only thing any of these are hurting is a guy's feelings. Now comes the biggy. I just told you that it has a push button to start the engine. When I bought this little guy it needed a heater fan switch. Little did I know as the new owner that the previous guy had just simply twisted the wires onto the back of the button. When I pulled it out of the dash it hit metal and instantly burst the entire wire from the button to the starter solenoid into flames! I got it out without mishap, but it did leave some charred marks on the passenger door panel and dash. It also melted some of the wiring harness insulation off of the main harness inside of the dash. No big deal. I drove it home, pulled it apart and repaired all damage that had been done. It is now fused at the solenoid and insulated at each connection. No longer an issue once done correctly. Overall: I told you all these things in the last paragraph not to scare you, but to educate you. We have all purchased things in our lives that wasn't how it was originally described Its no fun and angering to say the least. Everything I have stated above is to my greatest knowledge to pass on to its new owner. I listed it on here first in hopes of finding someone that will love and enjoy it as I have in the past. It always gets positive compliments and thumbs ups while its on the road. Its never let me down in the twenty some thousand miles that i drove it! Please bid with care. All sales are final and vehicle is sold as is where is. Pick up is required by winning bidder. $500 deposit due within 48hrs of auction end. Thank you all for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any more questions or concerns regarding the vehicle.
