1979 Honda CB750F SuperSport In 1979 Honda introduced a new, more powerful version of the 750 SuperSport to the world, the CB750F SuperSport. This bike came with a newly designed 749cc 4 cylinder engine, dual overhead cams with bucket and shims instead of rocker arms, and four valves per cylinder making 72hp. This bike raised the bar with its superior engine performance and handling, making it stand above the rest in its class. Clean MN title in my name The bike was purchased and rode for for seven years. At that point it was put in storage and I purchased from the original owner last spring The bike has never sat out in the elements and the bike reflects the long storage and low use. I had the carbs cleaned, installed new tires which have about 700 miles on them. Changed oil and filter and installed new battery I have put on 1500 miles since the bike was brought back to life.The bike runs great (not a hard start when cold) and handles well. The engine side covers were all professionally buffed out and look very nice. I have a set of new chromed crash guards that will go with the bike. I have a few other parts I will include another headlight bucket and a tachometer The original paint is very nice a couple little dings here and there but very nice. The back cowling has a small crack, The exhaust is decent but really could be replaced. I had to put on a diffrerent pipe on the right. You can see a little damage to the left one.. Needs a new chain. Also you can see some sealent around the base of the jug not sure why it does not leak The bike is in overall very good shape but please remember it is 36 years old and not perfect I have the original blue 1979 Owners manual and the Offical Honda Shop manual in the green Honda binder I have shipped many items using uship.
