Warranty Number: 6F08A368819 Year – 6 1966 Plant – F Dearborn, Michigan Body Series – 08 Convertible Engine – A 289 4v V8 Unit 368819 Miscellaneous Vehicle Data Body – 76A Convertible Color – K Nightmist Blue Trim – 22 Blue with Blue Trim Date – 01F June 1, 1966 DSO – 27 Cinncinati Axle – 1 3.00:1 Trans – 1 3-Speed Manual This car was purchased on June 20th, 1966 as a gift. A Gentleman purchased this car for his wife when she completed her Masters Degree in May of 1966. She drove this car to work every day until her retirement. Car spent its life in Morehead, Kentucky. They had the car repainted and a new top put on back in the late seventies and used it for pleasure on the weekends. They owned this car for 44 years and was sold a few years after her husbands passing. The car is in great shape, it does have some rust areas but nothing major. Car comes with original owner’s manual, warranty card, original bill of sale and original need help/need gas window sign. A car like this, with all of the originality, running and driving, is VERY hard to find today. THIS MUSTANG HAS ONLY 82,570 MILES ON IT!! The interior is all original except for the carpet. The rear seat bottom has a small 3 inch tear; the front seats are in good original condition. Dash pad is nice and original. The top was installed back in 1978. Power top works great!! It has the original AM Radio that still works. It still has the original seat belts. Car also has original spare rim with matching wire hubcap and original jack. The exterior has had a repaint back in the mid-70’s according to the original owner. All glass is original, even the front windshield. The passenger front fender does have some rust in the bottom, as well as the passenger rear quarter on fender lip edge (past damage from scuffing against garage door opening). Any of this rust is easily fixed, but for now this car can just be driven and enjoyed. The car starts right up and drives great, you can drive it with 2 fingers. Engine runs smooth and it shifts through all gears perfectly. Carburetor has recently been rebuilt. Please look at all photos and videos, feel free to ask any questions.
