Vehicle Detail

Condition: This car for sale with VIN 494877H941102 has been garaged kept since it was first purchased by a proud couple in Washington State. It has also been well maintained mechanically which is documented by the pile of original paperwork. Included is the original BUICK GM factory production order sheet that documents build features. The "Exclusive Riviera Fawn" paint is in amazing condition. The car has had one repaint, and it looks wonderful both up close and far away. The black interior is in excellent shape and is all original (drivers side armrest shows some wear). This solid survivor is sporting a sleek black vinyl top that is in phenomenal condition. From the trunk, spare wheel well, interior, engine compartment, and underside, it is all in great pure survivor form. Chrome and stainless steel adornments remain in spectacular order and the original/correct Buick Rally wheels are in top notch condition. Undercoat has been applied to the underside in the past, protecting it from rust. Many steering wheels from this year have deep cracks, yet here we have pristine, almost like-new condition. The dash is in straight condition and without cracking. The headliner has no damage and maintaines integrity. All lights and gauges are functioning well and in good order during operation (oil pressure good, never overheating). The clock is not moving and the speed alert is currently not operational. Not only is the form classically elegant, but the car is also a solid driver mechanically. The breaks are highly responsive, as is the throttle. The engine runs strong and shifting is smooth without issue. The newer exhaust system (installed by previous owner) offers a low rumbling that transcends into a roar when prompted. My mechanic also went over the car thoroughly. While many classic car sellers claim that the odometer is accurate with little more than hearsay and decent condition, this car has excellent condition, verbal history, paperwork, original owners notes, and further evidence to show that this almost 50 year old car has indeed well under 100,000 miles onboard. That is a rare benefit. Features:This well optioned vehicle comes with functioning eight-way power seats, power antenna for original AM radio, power windows, speed alert, remote mirror, air conditioning, automatic trunk release, chrome door guards, an exclusive paint color named Riviera Fawn (Code W), black vinyl bench trim and impeccable vinyl top. The 3.07 differential gear ratio offers greater cruising fuel efficiency and higher top-end speeds. The flawless chrome plated original Buick Rally wheels give the car an unforgettably muscular stance. The paint has a similarity to champagne, yet with a bit less metal flake and different proportion of silver and gold. It is similar to an electrum poly-metallic that simply looks amazing in person. The vehicle sports a correct original unrestored survivor California Black Plate (URG703). Carpet savers with logo and deluxe handy mat BUICK accessories protect the floor from weather and wear. The car is currently registered operational in California to me, clear and without any leans (August 2016). Comes with an original "Star Wars" GS air cleaner assembly (with original base and top nut) in great shape AND the Original non-GS air cleaner! An astronomical amount of design and investment went into replacing the previous "Nailhead" engine, with the development of a new V8 430ci design; yielding a solid 360hp straight off the factory floor. From top industry breaking to air flow, these up and coming collector antique cars have stunning design and NASA grade, early BUICK engineering to back them up. History:This Buick Riviera was delivered to Tacoma, Washington on July, 22, 1967. An oil change sticker remains in the driver door jam that shows the original owners last change in 1992 at 90,701 miles. Not long after the car was stored without driving until 2013. Transfer of the vehicle went to a good friend of the owners that pulled it out of storage in 2013. After reinvigorating the vehicle and adding a new aggressive dual exhaust system the transitional owner sold the car to me. I had it shipped to California, and registered December 5th, 2013. In essence, the car is functionally a one owner vehicle as I have only stored it and continued with upkeep and maintenance. The car currently has 91,667 ORIGINAL miles listed on the odometer. In purchasing this car, it will come with a stack of paperwork which includes the original owner protection plan (protect-o-plate), coveted yet rarely acquired original production order build sheet, a spiral notebook that original owner kept documenting fuel and mileage (with dates), maintenance receipts, and more. Please inquire if interested in further history specifics. If you are looking for a well documented low mile Beautiful 1967 Buick Riviera in amazing condition, with a reasonable price tag, this is it!
