Vehicle Detail

1975 Corvette T-Top Coupe, with the rare L82 engine option, which is a nice, complete, solid, running/driving project. This year is the single rarest year for the L82 engine option, with only 2,372 L82's being produced this year! Compare that production number to the other years!!! Factory options include an automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt/telescoping wheel, power windows. Unlike many color-change cars, this one is a trim-tag-correct White/Tan car! I took this car in on a multi-car transaction. It has been in the same owner's hands since 1977, with paperwork to back this up, and only one prior owner, who bought it new. I have recently installed new front and rear bumpers. The car starts and runs, but it sounds like it needs a tune up. No smoke, excessive blow-by, etc. The engine compartment is untouched/unrestored. Even the smog pump and belt are still in place! The brakes, and other mechanicals all seem to be in decent order, but again, this is a project car, needing a checkout, etc. The tach, oil pressure and clock do not work. The power windows are not currently operating, but I am guessing this may be the relay/fuse since neither work. May need new motors, who knows as I have not had a chance to check out. The frame, and other the areas of rust/concern on most Corvettes of this era are of no concern on this vehicle. The end caps, frame, kickups, etc are all excellent, solid, no rust issues!. The body fitment, door, hood, and t-top fitment is excellent, with no evidence of accidents, previous repair work, etc. The urethane bumper covers literally fall apart as these cars age, so I recently replaced both bumpers in the last week. The paint is in clearly older and would need to be refinished to make it very nice again. It appears that the car may have had some touch up work over the years, but a good bit of the exterior may actually retain the original paint. The door jams are definitely still in their original paint. It's not perfect paint, but you can tell what you are getting since it's been on there so long. A polisher, and the paint might shine back up, and drive for a while as it is! The interior appears to be mostly original other than the seat covers, which appear to be newer replacements. The seat covers are in great shape, as is the dash and console. I would replace the door panels, and the carpet, and the interior would certainly be very presentable with these additions. The mileage shows 90K, and based off overall appearance, I am guessing this is accurate. If you are looking for a nice project Corvette, (L82 or otherwise), with the lowest and rarest production engine option, here's an excellent opportunity to purchase a car that you can drive and enjoy as it is, and complete repaint as desired down the road. I am open to CLOSE offers, no low ballers need contact me. Not really looking for trades, but you are welcome to send me something if you think I might be interested. Sold as is, where is. The car is located in Galena, Ohio, approximately 20 mins northeast of Columbus Ohio. Thanks for looking and email with any questions.
