Up for sale is an all original 1979 Pontiac Trans-Am It has its original 403 ci motor and automatic transmission. This Trans-Am has 79,000 original miles. These cars had a tendency to rust away pretty bad. This Trans-Am has very little rust comparatively. The bottom side of the drivers door needs some repair as well as the very bottoms of the rear quarter panels. Rear quarters do not have holes, but there is a soft spot. The rest of the car appears to be rust free. This Trans-Am has been sitting in a barn on and off for 20 years. last time it was on the road was in 2008. This Trans-Am is a nice car, perfect for a light restoration. As mentioned earlier, this car has been sitting for some time. The carburetor has been rebuilt, however I am still having some trouble with it. This car runs and drives. Motor is strong and quiet. It will do a mean burn out! Brakes are soft, but they will stop the car safely. also the power windows and power door locks quit working and I haven't had a chance to look at it. Interior is in good shape, needs a headliner. Overall you are biding on a nice original, solid Trans-Am. These cars are really gaining in popularity. They reproduce everything imaginable for them.
