1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner. 1 of 1,999 made. This is a true warehouse find. The car was parked in 1976, and didn't move from that location until we discovered it a little over a month. Overall, the car is in great shape. Body wise, there are some rust spots on the front fenders behind the wheels. There is also a spot on the passenger side rocker panel. The rear quarters are solid, except for the passenger side lower quarter between the wheel opening and the bumper. Some previous work is starting to come through, but if your plan is to just drive the car, it is fine. The floor has some rust through on the drivers side. The passenger side has already been covered with some sheet metal. The stock 272 Y block runs on a gas can. The original Fordomatic was replaced at some point with a 3 speed manual. The rear end is stock. There is a small spot of rust in the trunk pan. The rest of the trunk is solid. The interior is all there, and original. The front seat has some tears in it. The rear seat is in great shape, as is the headliner. The door panels have some wear at the bottoms, but they are all there. All the glass is good, except for the driver and passenger door glass. Both are cracked. The plexiglass top is in great shape, considering its age. All chrome and stainless look great. Tires are rollers only. Brakes and fuel system need to be gone through before driving. Winning bidder must pay $1000.00 deposit due through paypal 48 hours after auction ends.
