JUST RETURNED FROM THE DETAIL SHOP 8-21 I SPENT $850 TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING DONE: ENTIRE CAR DETAILED, IN AND OUT, ENGINE COMPARTMENT, TRUNK, UNDERSIDE, ETC. BODY SPECIALIST CALLED IN TO DO PAINTLESS DING REMOVAL THE BODY IS NOW COMPLETELY FREE OF ANY DINGS WHATSOEVER. 3 SPOTS THE SIZE OF A PIN HEAD HAVE BEEN TOUCHED UP, THESE ARE THE ONLY 3 SPOTS ON THE CAR THAT HAD ANY INDICATION THAT THIS CAR WAS ACTUALLY EVER DRIVEN. THE PAINT HAS BEEN POLISHED TO A LIQUID BLACK SHINE, NO SWIRL MARKS, THE PAINT IS SOFT AND SLIPPERY TO THE TOUCH. THE OIL HAS BEEN CHANGED AS WELL. THIS COULD QUITE POSSIBLY BE THE NICEST SRT6 IN THE COUNTRY !!!! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS CAR, NO WARNING LIGHTS, NO SERVICE NEEDS, IT PERFORMS PERFECTLY. IT IS LIKE NEW INSIDE AND OUT. THE INTERIOR IS FLAWLESS AND THE PAINT IS AS SOFT AND WET LOOKING AS IT WAS ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR, MAYBE EVEN BETTER SINCE IT HAS BEEN COMPOUNDED 2 OR 3 TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT IT SMOOTHING OUT THE FACTORY PAINT EVEN FURTHER. THIS CAR IS A 10 BY ANYONE'S STANDARDS. SRT IS MOPARS DESIGNATION WHICH STANDS FOR "STREET RACING TECHNOLOGY" THIS CAR COMBINES A HAND-BUILT MERCEDES AMG PERFORMANCE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION WITH SRT DESIGNED HANDLING. THIS CAR IS OUTRAGEOUSLY FUN TO OWN. IT IS AN INCREDIBLE CAR, AMERICAN MUSCLE WITH GERMAN ENGINEERING. IT IS VERY FAST BUT VERY DRIVE-ABLE. THIS IS THE QUICKEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED. IT COMPETES WITH ALL BUT THE MOST EXPENSIVE SUPERCARS. THIS CAR IS LIGHT AND FAST. THE BENZ SPECIALIST WAS IMPRESSED AND A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT THE POWER THIS CAR NOW HAS. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE UPGRADES FOR 3 YEARS NOW, IT IS ABSOLUTELY ROCK SOLID AND RELIABLE WITH VERY FEW CHANGES TO THE ORIGINAL MECHANICAL STRUCTURE OF THE CAR. ALL ORIGINAL ARTS EXCEPT THE MUFFLER HAVE BEEN RETAINED IF THE NEW OWNER WOULD LIKE TO REVERT, BUT HONESTLY, WHY WOULD YOU, ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LIKE THIS. NOTE: SOME REPORTS SHOW A NON COLLISION INCIDENT WITH THIS CAR EARLY IN ITS LIFE. I WAS TOLD BY THE FORMER OWNER THAT THE PASSENGER DOOR WINDOW HAD BEEN BROKEN AND REPLACED. THERE IS NO INDICATION THAT ANYTHING WAS DONE AND NO DEGRADATION IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WINDOW. I HAVEN'T LOOKED INTO IT BUT THERE IS A SMALL BLACK SCUFF ABOUT 4 INCHES LONG ON THE VERY EDGE OF THE RIM, IT MAY BE ABLE TO BE RUBBED OUT WITH PLASTIC POLISH, I AM LOOKING INTO THAT NOW. THERE IS A NIK IN ON THE VERY OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE RIM ON THE REAR RIGHT WHEEL ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PEA. THERE ARE 3 LOCATIONS WHERE TOUCH UP PAINT WAS APPLIED, ONE AT THE GAS CAP ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PEA, ONE ON THE RIGHT FRONT QUARTER PANAL THE SIZE OF A PIN HEAD AND ONE ON THE DRIVERS MIRROR THE SIZE OF A PIN HEAD. THERE ARE FOLD MARKS FROM POLLEN ON THE RAG TOP FROM FOLDING THE TOP WHILE DUSTY. I HAVE CLEANER AND WILL TRY TO WASH THAT OUT.
