Up for sale is a 1966 Porsche 912 Coupe. Vin #4563XX Engine #7466XX This car spend most of its life in North-Texas thus is considered a dry car. This car was never in a major collision, it retains all its original panels and most of its original paint. Engine is disassembled however all components are machined or new and ready for assembly. The following parts are new: Pistons and jugs Camshaft Main and rod bearings standard size Kolbenschmidt Made in Germany Motor and transmission mounts Guides and valves Clutch disk, pressure plate and throw-out bearing Sachs Oil return tubes Rebuilt parts: Crankshaft polished not ground, still is standard size Cylinder heads rebuilt with new valves and guides Fuel pump rebuilt Gearbox is the correct 901 has a casting number 901.301.101.0R Car has some rust under battery box, other than that it appears rock solid. Car has its original ignition key, door key is a USA duplicate. Car has a paper file including maintenance book in plastic folder and a stack of receipt mainly from Zimm’s and Part Werks of Chicago. This should be a straight forward fun restoration o a desirable early 912. I have a free and clear title in my name, the car is properly titled as a model year 1966.
