I bought this TRD Tacoma Prerunner new in California and it has followed me to Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Florida and finally to Virginia. Toyota inspected it for rust perforation shortly after my arrival here and after finding none, they provided a corrosion resistant coating. Other than some of the oil changes, flushes, throttle body cleanings and the like that I did myself, I still have all of the maintenance records. The tires have around 40K on them, have been rotated and balanced regularly and are still in great shape with plenty of tread. There are new ball joints up front, replacement shocks and I installed a 1" lift in the rear leafs and a K&N filtercharger intake kit. This truck has been nearly trouble free; besides what I've done to the suspension, I've had to replace two light bulbs, a fuse, the battery and a starter. The windshield washer reservoir is reinforced and I added a more powerful horn. I've also done a headlight restoration. Doesn't leak a drop or use any oil. This truck has been garaged or covered most of its life, been washed and waxed regularly and meticulously maintained. It shows some scratches from off road use and a few dents from other careless people who hit me in parking lots and drove off without leaving a note, but it still looks great. The performance and fuel economy remain as great as the day I bought it. This V6 is known for its awesome reliability, this truck could easily double the miles on it. The only reason I'm selling my truck is that I need more room for the family.
