1989 Volvo 244 Original California car in original condition and documented low mileage. I assume those who buy these Volvo's already know how dependable, durable and practical they are. I am selling this car for a family friend, however I did not post it before driving it for at least a week prior to listing date. Car runs excellent, it's fully equipped and everything is functional based on my long experience as a Volvo owner. While using the car I noticed weak performance of the charging system, noisy muffler and a faded left tail light lens. So, a new alternator with a life time warranty, a new muffler as well as a new tail light were all installed. Paint looks original and near perfect, it's shiny and the number of typical parking dings are bare minimal for the age. (Please see the pictures and judge for yourself.) There is absolutely no rust what so ever and the body and whole undercarriage are extremely solid. Engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts perfectly. Tires are almost new, the original owner of the car was an older lady who had the car locally serviced and maintained on a strict regular schedule. Interior seats, door panels, carpet and head liner are also perfect and absolutely well kept. (Please see the pictures.) Trunk, spare tire area are in perfect condition as well. It's my policy to present all classic cars on as is basis despite generously fixing all known imperfections.
