Being advertised locally on CraigList and here in Phoenix so we reserve right to end this auction early and at any time. This 420SEL has been driving back and forth to work flawlessly for the last 3.5 years I've owned it until a few days ago. Typically at 90 to 100mph no problem. A few days ago came out in morning to an oil leak coming from between engine and bell housing. Since we have other cars decided at 235k miles time to move on. It is not the transmission, it looks like engine oil or brake fluid. Not sure if its minor like a seal, or major, I just want it out of the driveway. Clear Arizona title in hand and this car passed emissions twice no issues whatsoever. Previous History: comes from Tucson it was serviced at their local MB Dealership and German car specialty shops its entire life until I bought it at 167k miles. No rot or rust whatsoever. Original cost $57,000 in '88. Tons of documentation - original manuals, all the service records, tires, even the 1980's vintage Sony over-the-top stereo system manuals. See photo with two big Sony amps, CD changer, original MBenz tools, jack, full size spare tire, two original keys so you don't have to spend 75 bucks on a chipped key, alarm system, Discount Tires about 35%. Gets about 20mpg. AC has been out awhile no idea if a switch or more serious. Paint peeling multiple areas, chrome is good, interior original and 27 years old, never smoked, no pets, smells fine but its worn. Stereo really pumps the jams but the speakers are old. Excellent parts car or fix the leak and put another 50-60,000 miles on it. The car starts and runs but I would advise you bring a friend in separate vehicle to follow you out or tow it out until it can be diagnosed and fixed. Once it leaves the driveway it is sold. Has a 1/4 tank of Premium gas. Thanks for looking!
