This is an extremely rare version of the Classic MGB. The very earliest cars had not only the more classic metal dash, but also they were usually made in more classic color combos similar to the MGA. Very few of these early cars survive, and even fewer in their original configuration with no modifications. This car was restored by the previous owner who intended to compete in the local British Car show circut. It has won several awards for originality, and is a beautiful driver example. This is one of the nicest MGBs I have seen in a long time. 1967 is the most desirable year of the MGB. Still with the early style classic details such as the metal dash, eared knock offs, leather seats, etc, but with the stronger and better 5 main bearing engine. This example is finished in classic black with red leather interior. It has been restored and is in great shape. Cosmetically it has great solid black paint that was redone several years ago when the car was restored. it remains very nice with no damage or rust. The chrome nearly all been redone or replaced with new bumpers, grill and chrome wire wheels and knock offs. The interior was also completely redone with new carpet, panels, dash and top quality custom sewn leather seats in the correct original pattern. The top was also replaced with a new top quality Robbins converible top. Mechanically it was completely redone with a rebuilt engine, transmission, SU carburators, distributor and much more. The brakes have been similarly gone through and work excellently. It comes with a fitted car cover, shop manual, owners manual, jack, short tonneau cover etc. If you are looking for a great early MGB to show or just to drive and enjoy, this is the one!
