1972 Suzuki GT 750 LeMans Water Buffalo You are bidding to buy my 1972 Suzuki GT750 LeMans. VIN: GT750-27323 Manufacture Date: 4/72 This bike is a true vintage time capsule. It starts up instantly with the electric starter button, idles perfect and runs awesome. I have posted a YOU TUBE Video for you to see. Look it up under 1972 Suzuki GT750 Lemans, start up. The bike is the first year of production and has the original paint of Newport Blue, which to me looks like teal. But anyway, I have ridden this bike and it has the rare DUAL FRONT DRUM BRAKES with the slotted air intakes....very cool and the brakes work great on the bike. I have not found any water leaks on the bike anywhere and I have ridden it on the highway with no problems at all. I would however, recommend you buy 2 new tires prior to doing any serious riding on the bike. The spokes are virtually rust free, as are the rims. The fenders are rust free too. The bike still has BOTH ORIGINAL S SUZUKI MIRRORS!! There is some rust on some of the chrome here and there as you need to remember this is an unrestored motorcycle!!! The seat is very cushiony and has the original seat cover which does have a tear on the top. You can buy a new seat cover for $25-$50 on eBay. There are a few spots on the bike where there are chrome clamps that have rust on them.. The gauges are very clear and work well. They do have some minor oxidation on them as does the engine side covers as you can see in the pictures. The bike has the original exhaust system and there are no holes in it, however, it is missing those rubber end extensions but the mufflers do have all 4 baffles in place. (see picture) All of the lights work and so do the turn signals and the horn works too!!! The gas tank is very very clean inside and virtually rust free inside. The paint is original and does have the typical clear coat peeling here and there as pictured. The bike does have new fuel lines and has recently had the carbs cleaned and tuned up. I am pretty geeked at how well the engine runs on this bike. It sounds very sweet. It also runs very sweet. These bikes are a 3 cylinder, liquid cooled, 2 stroke. The engine was actually taken right from the Suzuki factory road racers and modified to suit the street use purpose. These bikes are pretty fast. I rode my last GT750 on a 2000 mile road trip in 1993 and never had a problem with it. So, all in all, this is a nice original GT750 that would make a nice addition to your collection. As of today, I can't find the title but the bike does have a clear title. If I cannot find it, I will give the buyer a notorized bill of sale whic can be used to get a title in all 50 states.
