SOLID SOUTHERN SHORT BED TRUCK….PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!! 1974 FORD F100 SHORTBED TRUCK ORDERED WITH EXPLORER PACKAGE C 1 OF 6 WITH THESE PAINT/TRIM CODES Truck sold new in Adairsville, Georgia at Adcock Motors on October 28th, 1974. Truck has the original 8 cyl engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. Engine runs good, and transmission shifts well. Odometer shows 46,006 miles (probably 146,006 miles). Nice dual exhaust system on truck that sounds Grrrrreat!!!!! Truck comes with a good compressor and mounting bracket for the A/C system. Body is in good shape – it has been repainted at some point (clearcoat is coming off hood and bedside top edges). Bed is solid with minor surface rust (see photos). There are a few small dents, scratches, chips and other blemishes on the truck (see photos). Truck still has a nice shine to it. Unfortunately, someone removed the bed tie downs that were part of the original explorer package. Interior is in pretty good shape. The dash pad is in good shape, small tight cracks. Door panels are nice, new floor mat and nice seat cover. Nice Panasonic AM/FM/CD player with JVC 6x9 box speakers behind seat. Sliding rear back glass. The undercarriage is in good, clean shape. Drivers side floor pan has a group of small holes in it, no problem to fix. This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck that needs very little body work and little mechanical work.
