I am selling my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I received it as partial payment for a side job, drove it with the intention of building it into a trail/camping/wheeling vehicle. I am now in need of money for medical bills, so I have no funds to build this up. It runs great, very strong, no smoke or leaks. The transmission shifts as it should. The 4wd system works flawlessly and the rear axle already has a posi in it. The tires are all newer, including the full size spare. It has a newer battery and exhaust. The A/C blows ice cold. All of the power windows/locks and other accessories work as they should. The only rust is on the passenger side of the front corner of the hood. The truck has a few scratches and typical wear for the year it is. It is not a new or perfect truck, it is used and is priced as such. I wouldn't be worried to get in it and drive it anywhere. It will need new front brake pads in about 3 to 5 thousand miles. I have the title in my possession, it is clean and clear. It is a standard New Jersey title, it is not a Salvage or Reconstructed title. The truck is located in Stanhope New Jersey 07874. On Nov-02-15 at 17:14:45 PST, seller added the following information: OK. So far two people have showed up to inspect it and drive it in person. They each offered $1400 and $1500 for me to end the auction early, which I have never done. One brought a professional mechanic and I let him take it to his shop for a full inspection. They came back very happy and he said he would pass it in a heartbeat for a NJ inspection sticker. Enough said.
