Up for sale is my 1972 Honda CT70H K1, Trail 70. It is the 4 speed model with a clutch. I bought this as a basket about 15 years ago. The motor was completely gone through, new piston and rings bored .10 over, new gaskets, seals, timing chain and gears, new valves and points and condenser. I had all of the painted parts media blasted and painted with House of Kolor paint. New replica decals from hondaminitrail.com were used and are as authentic as you can get without getting them from Honda, which they are unavailable from Honda. New wire harness, seat cover and foam, new tires, tubes and brakes along with wheel bearings, new chain and sprockets, new grips and throttle assembly, new OEM ignition switch. The fenders were replaced with OEM Honda fenders, new throttle cable and brake cable all in the gray color like OEM. I wanted to keep it as original as possible. The cons are that I did not have the bolts replated when they were out and now some of them are starting to show oxidation. There is a couple of small paint chips from being moved around, the chrome on the engine guard and spark plug cover are showing their 50 year old age, not as shiny as they once were. I did not replace the exhaust and it is showing some where. We did have to put a coupler in it near the front of the guard where they all tend to rust apart. Seat pan was welded.
