Early 1955 Chevy 3100 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck up for sale. Desirable five window model. The truck is a short-bed 1/2 ton, with custom oak wood bed. This was the last year of this truck. They stopped production of these within the first few months of 1955. This was a project of ours where we just ran out of time, so my loss is your gain! Some fix-it details, I just couldn't get to but should be pointed out. Holes have been drilled in the running boards for exhaust and the key-starter has been drilled into the dash (both before my purchase). Please be aware she's a daily driver who's a bit rough in places with small dings, dents, scratches and wear. The Original Engine has been replaced with a- Chevy Impala 327 V8. 4-Speed granny gear transmission. I would recommend looking it over in person or have it inspected if possible. Ask questions and I'll try my by best to answer, please realize I'm not a mechanic in any way shape or form. The following is a list of replacement parts and upgrades. Headlight bezels and handheld spot lights, with a cool detail of a vintage sun visor added.
