1984 Honda 500 Interceptor You are bidding on my 1984 Honda 500 Interceptor. V.I.N. JH2PC1207EM005759 This bike is a very special bike. It is a 1 owner bike that was owned before me by the owner of a local Honda Dealership. He pulled the bike off the floor in 1984 and kept it for his personal bike and has owned the bike ever since. He has kept it indoors in a heated dealership and ridden the bike easily. When I bought the bike, he explained to me everything that he has done to the bike to maintain it in perfect condition. He had his Honda Certified Mechanics go over the entire bike from front to back, back to front, inside and out. Front forks were completely rebuilt. Front brakes were completely rebuilt. New tires were put on the bike and the wheels were professionally balanced at the dealership. The carbs were removed and ultrasonically cleaned and put into perfect condition and re-installed. Then, the engine was completely tuned by the Honda mechanics to run flawlessly, including a complete oil and filter change, valves adjusted, all electronics set and the bike was road tested. The bike starts instantly, idles perfectly, runs perfectly and rides perfectly as it was designed to do. The brakes work flawlessly and the bike handles beautiful. Remember, this is a fast motorcycle. It is not for a beginner and I do not recommend that you buy it if you are not an experienced rider. You are buying at your own risk, and the buyer assumes any and all responsibility for anything after the sale. No returns. No crying. No cry babies. No buyer remorse and no extortion threats. The cables were all either replaced or properly lubricated. These are the original gauges and they work perfectly. These are the original miles. Of course, I have the CLEAR MICHIGAN TITLE. The bike was detailed to perfection. It is an original bike with the exception of the bike has a new set of F1 mufflers as you can see. I don't want to go overboard in my description, however, I want you to know what you are buying here. This is a very special motorcycle and is road ready to ride anywhere you want to go. My Reserve is reasonable for what this bike is and I will put it up against any other Interceptor in the country. The only cosmetic flaw in the bike is on the top edges of the fairing you can see where someone spilled some brake fluid and it took some of the paint off and those areas have some fading of the paint as pictured. And, there is one tiny eighth inch knick in the paint on the tank on the right side near the top as pictured.
