Up for sale is my 1978 ford ltd 2 door. It has a 302 v8 and automatic transmission. I am the second owner. I have owned this car about 6 years. It runs and drives well, engine idles smooth. The paint still shines nicely it was repainted at some point, but paint is not perfect has some chips from normal use. The car has a am/I'm 8 track player that still works and still plays the tapes. Car is pretty solid I am including some pictures of the underneath. I have kept this car maintained over the 6 years I have owned it by my mechanic, the following has been done over the 6 years I owned the car including having the fuel pump replaced, master cylinder replaced, carburetor rebuilt, u joint, transmission flushed out, 4 tires, plugs cap, rotor. This summer I had the drivers door armrest replaced with a new old stock one. It is a non a/c car. The following are any defects that I can think of, the valve cover gaskets seep when the car sits but it doesn't leak on the floor so I never had them changed, the tail pipe hanger is a little loose so it rattles a little bit, the top of the back seat has some damage from the sun over the years see picture. When the car sits for a long periods of time (over a month) it will smoke a little on startup. I have tried to answer all I know about the car, as I am not a mechanic. If you have any other questions please ask before bidding and I will try to answer them the best I can. I have the original title that came with the car from ct. CT does not issue new titles for cars this old, so it is sold with that title and a official ct bill of sale. Car is sold as is with no warranty. A 200 dollar deposit is due thru PayPal immediately after auction ends. The balance is to be paid in cash only. I do not ship cars you pick it up or arrange for pickup.
