I purchased this truck intending to do a full restoration, but must sell due to health reasons. This truck was manufactured in Atlanta, and spent most of its life on a farm in Florida. It was originally Red, and was repainted some time ago. It was last inspected in Florida in 1981. The mileage reads 79,700, but I am not sure if it is original. The truck runs and drives. It has the original 272 cubic inch y-block engine and 3-speed column shift transmission. It has duel exaust, and has had an alternator installed. The prior owner had it completely undercoated and installed 4 new shocks, carb rebuilt, repaired radiator, etc. The truck has its share of marks, but makes a nice appearance. I would encourage someone to inspect it before purchasing. These trucks with the original 8-cylinder engine and short bed are fairly rare and to find one in this condition, even rarer.
