Up for sale is a 1986.5 Nissan D21 Hardbody Pickup. This was the first model year of the D21 body style. It's is an extended cab 5 speed model that was primarily used as a campgrounds vehicle for a sport and swim club in northern NJ for the past 15 years. Prior to that the truck was last registered in NJ in 1999 for road use. It does have a clean NJ title and can now be registered as a classic vehicle. I purchased it with the intent of restoring it but have too many projects and need to clear this one out. Mechanically the truck is solid, the engine runs strong, the transmission shifts great, and the 4WD works perfectly. The frame is also very solid on this truck which is unusual as most hardbody frames (especially from the northeast US) tended to rot. As you can see this truck needs a little TLC. The cab is in so-so condition and has some cancerous rust in spots, the bed is shot and will definitely need to be replaced. At some point it will also need a clutch to be a solid driver. This would be a perfect work truck with a little bit of elbow grease or would make an excellent start to an off-road project. Shipping can be arranged at the buyer's expense.
