1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr hardtop. With a 1974 302 engine and a C6 transmission. $$$ New Parts: Aluminum Radiator, Hoses, Electric Fan, Water Pump, Pulleys, Distributor Cap & Rotor Button, Spark Plugs & Wires, Solenoid, Coil, Deka Battery, Master Cylinder, Brake Lines (hard & rubber), Wheel Cylinders & Pads, Fuel Lines, Fuel Pump, Replaced Gas Tank with a good used one, also has a brand new Jegs 2.5'' mandrel bent exhaust system dual chambered mufflers. $$$ As you can tell all these new parts are to make the car run, and that it does. It starts, runs and even stops with effort, due to not having power brakes. The problem comes when it gets warm you can hear a little rattle in the bottom end (probably a rod bearing) and I am not willing to tear it down to fix it. But I will bet that if you are a ford guy you would probably put a big block in it anyhow!! The body is in rough condition someone before me tried to put a passenger quarter panel on it and failed terribly. The floor Pans are rusted in the usual places. believe it or not the front fenders are very nice. This car is not perfect in any sense of the word, it is not a beautiful rust free 427 four speed car but it is also not $40,000. This car does however have its place and it should be doing smoky burnouts, and scaring the crap out of your girlfriends parents. If you are the guy willing to put in the work to make it happen this car can be yours. I also have lots of other parts that go with the car including a set of 68 GT mustang wheels.
