Ok, I think I can finally bring myself to put my baby up for sale. She's a 1994 Chevy Corvette in Black Rose Metallic. I have absolutely babied this car and spared no expense on her maintenance. I just last week installed two real Bilstein Shocks and a sway bar bushing. ($250). She has brand new weather stripping ($1100), a new heater core, fairly new Opti Spark, water pump, plugs and wires (within the last 10,000 miles) . I change her oil every 6 months which is usually about 500 miles or less. Oil is cheap, and I just don't take a chance on letting it sit in the crankcase and have the detergents break down. Mobil1 Full synthetic 5w-30, just like the manual calls for. Newly drained and filled (with Royal Purple) rear end fluid, and added a bottle of AC Delco Limited Slip Lubricant per factory service manuals. I have also re-wired the stereo and replaced the old Bose with a new Kenwood CD/USB/Ipod input stereo, Infinity speakers, Sound Ordnance powered subwoofer. She sounds pretty nice. Less than 1500 miles on the Nitto 555 tires, like new. I'm not a hot rodder, and I haven't modified the car in any way.
