1962 THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE Up for consignment is this fine example of a 62” T-Bird Convertible. This is an all original sheet metal car that has an older restoration. The car shows very well with straight and solid panels and no rust. The paint is in great condition done in its original color. The interior has been redone in its original color and style with great appeal. The original 390 4bbl Z code engine was rebuilt and runs superb. The Cruise-O-Matic transmission has been serviced and shifts smooth. This T-Bird is highly equipped with Factory (power windows, power seat, power steering, power brakes, and heat and cold a/c). Everything on the car is in working condition. The top works smooth and with ease. The Kelsey Hayes wire wheels are in great condition with no pitting. A sport cover for the back seat has been added. All of the chrome was redone or replaced and shows bright and straight. Although this is an older restored vehicle it has been very well kept and regularly serviced. The car has been a great weekend warrior and starts up every time. The owner has enjoyed driving it in parades and cruises. We invite independent inspections and look at all trades.
