Up for auction is this Mustang 'Solo Special'. Please take a close look at the pictures so you can appreciate how original this motorcycle really is. Included in the pictures is an ad from a magazine from 1951, where the ad promotes the "new" 1952 models. If you look closely at the pictures and compare, you can see that this cycle sports all of the items, making this the ultra rare 'Solo Special' model. This Mustang boasts the original switches,mirror,taillight,headlight,horn,etc. What separates this Mustang from a stock 'Solo' model is the upswept exhaust pipe, the front brake assembly, the glass fuel filter, and the modified front fender. I am no expert on Mustang Motorcycles but I can attest that all of the differences between the two 'Solo' models shows that this certainly is the highly desirable 'Solo Special'. I am selling the cycle for my brother. He told me that the California title is on a 'Non Op' in his name with the correct California black license plate.
