I have for sale a 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster. This beautiful car has had a frame off restoration done by the previous owner and was finished in 2010. The Paint is a brilliant, metal flake electric blue. The car was taken down to bare metal and painted. The paint was professionally applied over a very straight, completely rust free body. Most of the exterior chrome has been redone and it all shines great. The turn signal and marker lights are all N.O.S. The Frame was professionally media blasted before the paint was applied. This car does not have side trim, it was a dealer installed option and this car never had it. The Seat Frames were media blasted, then repainted, restrung with new straps and new foam. All new seat covers were installed as well as new door panels, carpet & pad, as well as a convertible top. The dash pad is in excellent condition with no cracks. The steering wheel and gauges are in great shape. The car has so many new and new old stock parts to list that it is easier to just say that everything is either new or has been replaced. Tires, Battery, Brakes, Brake adjusters, Wheel bearings, sway bar bushings, A-arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, Wheel cylinders, lines, Shocks, belts, hoses, cables, grommets, and all door trim gaskets. Water pump, fuel pump, fan, Radiator reservoir, The Wheels were media blasted and painted. The hubs caps are in great shape N.O.S. The Tires are almost new and in excellent condition. The trunk is extremely clean and has a full size spare and jack... all correct. The engine has been completely rebuilt and runs great. The car only has about 1000 miles on since the rebuild. All the engine and machine work was done by Mad Hatter Racing. New rings, Bearings, Seals, Chains, gaskets and more replaced from Datsunparts.com. As with all these Datsun's, it is a little cold-blooded and there is a manual choke. The carbs were done by Z Therapy. The muffler is new and the tips are N.O.S. The Air cleaner is also N.O.S. and the radiator was also fitted with a new core. The 5-Speed transmission was gone thru by Performance Transmissions. This car is not perfect and I am not representing it as such, but it is one of the cleanest, nicest Datsun Roadsters that you will ever see. The miles in the ad are what the odometer says, this is what I am going by as actual. This car was an Arizona car all of its life and is completely rust free. The Buyer is responsible for transporting the car. I will help any way I can with the transportation companies. The cost to transport this to many parts of the country should be $800 or less would be my guess. I will sell and ship INTERNATIONALLY as well. This Car is in excellent condition, but is sold without warranty of any kind. The car is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. There will be a $1000 non-refundable deposit due via PAYPAL within 24 hours of auction end. The remainder must be paid via certified bank check, bank wire transfer, cash, or Money Order within 7 days of auction. I will give a $40 allowance for UPS or FedEx overnight shipping of funds. The Car and title will be released when the funds have cleared my bank. You can look at my feedback and see that I am an honest seller and buyer, and I expect that in return from the buyer. On Sep-27-15 at 12:08:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several people tell me that the side chrome trim was not in fact a dealership option, that in fact it was on all roadster. Also I guess the exhaust is also not the original style from what I have heard on here. Its good quality though, the cat is fairly quite. Not as loud as others I have heard. This information came from several different sources that have emailed me who are a lot more well educated on these cars than I am. Thank you again for all your information. Also another person asked about some rust that they spotted on the apron in the bonus pictures that I had provided below in the add. This is surface rust it is in front of the wheel wheels on the apron. the bulky substance that look like bubbled up rust is in fact some sort of light undercoating that was applied to the car, I stated before this car is rust free, it is not PERFECT, but very nice! The Radio also works and turns on but am only so it really doesn't pic up any stations around here. I didn't want cut up anything for tunes, so I left the factory stuff.
