I am selling my 1999 Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor, it is a fun car that is nice to drive. Will try to detail everything I can about the car but I will start by telling you I just took it for a 10 hour drive from washington DC to Atlanta Georgia, it ran strong with no problems and averaging about 30 mpg. It is a low mileage car based on age. Body Nice no big dents or any other damage but does have several dings on hood and trunk. Paint on front bumper is peeling and there are rock chips. It is 16 years old so overall it looks good for its age! its a head turner still! Engine I have changed oil regularly and done my best to take care of it, it does not burn oil or smoke. It never overheats, but there is a small antifreeze drip somewhere, never tried to find because I only added coolant once every few months and it was about 1 quart. It will need a motor mount because its old, no effect other than vibration in drive or reverse when stopped. exhaust sounds good and supercharger works great, very quick little car. Transmission Great, shifts perfect and has no problems. Wheels, Tires, and Brakes Wheels are great could use cleaning, tires are basically done they will need replacing. Brakes are very good. Interior and top Top works as it should. Interior is good for a SLK, the small plastic cover for top switch fell off and lost, will probably want to replace it. Seats are good with normal wear, radio works good and AC works great! Windows work perfect up and down, cigarette lighter does not work, cup holders broken. Suspension Shocks seem good handles nice. I have described everything I can, but it is an old car so I am selling AS-is! It is NOT perfect but i have never been left anywhere by her, she always gets me where i want to go and does it in style!if you have any question feel free to ask. Car is in Atlanta, GA now.
