I rescued this bike last year from a long storage, after the Original owner (my neighbor) died. It's in excellent condition as both he & I are / were, older, anal German types. To put it back into perfect shape, I put in a new battery, rebuilt the calipers, installed new stainless break lines, installed a new Mono-shock and replaced the original plastic floats, which had melted, with new metal ones. I also changed all fluids, filters and had a professional tune up. The result is a very smooth & quiet, utterly dependable ride. I took it on a 400 mile trip upstate in July, and that's why I'm selling it. The bike performed flawlessly, but my back still hasn't recovered. I'm afraid after 51 years of riding, it's time to quit. So if you want a low mileage, almost new air-head that's ready to ride anywhere; here's your chance. I also have two keys, the books and a Corbin seat. I don't arrange shipping, but I'll help you in any way I can. I can store the bike for a month or so if that helps.
