1978 Volvo 245 Wagon For those who know the older classic Volvos, I don't believe any explanation is necessary about the quality of these cars. This vehicle has been sitting in a covered garage for quite a while, so according to my mechanic's at (007 Motorsport in San Mateo, CA) advised to be changed were the following repairs and maintenances that needed to be done before we started the engine. Gas tank was drained, both fuel pumps were replaced, some of the fuel lines were also changed. Injectors o rings were replaced, spark plugs, oil filter, oil, fuel filters, and most parts of the muffler were replaced. The ignition distributor and the cap, radiator and fluids, thermostat etc. were replaced and the hoses were checked as well. Electrical wires were inspected, more improvements were made some of which I can't recall at this time. Interior is in excellent condition, carpet is original and in excellent shape (as seen in the pictures.) Exterior: I believe the exterior is 95% original and shiny with almost no scratches, but just a few minor parking dings. The only imperfection on the paint is a small area of discoloration around the right tail light. (please see picture) The car is originally a California car so there is no rust on the undercarriage or surface regarding the age of car. There is no molding or scripts, as well as no emblems missing. Lights and gauges are functional, and there are no chips or cracks on lights/lenses or glasses. Transmission is a four speed manual equipped with a functional on shift overdrive. Please be informed that I tried to the best of my knowledge and ability to describe the car accurately, however according to my policy of classic vehicle sales, this vehicle is being offered for sale on an as is basis so please see all provided pictures as well as read the description asking any and all questions you may have before you engage in the bidding process. I am a retired person with some health issues and I used to collect classics as a hobby, now I am moving to a smaller place with limited covered storage and can no longer house my full collection. Based on my situation, I certainly appreciate it if you make sure you are financially capable of fulfilling your commitment before getting involved in bidding as I am not in a position to finance the car. I am holding the clean California title under my name for the Volvo. Thank you for your attention.
