After much thought I decided to put up for sale my 1982 Honda CB900F Super Sport. I bought this cycle new, with the Tracy Series II fairing. It is all original, except for some fluids, oil filter and battery. It has original tires, plugs, air filter and seat - the cycle currently has just under 4000 miles on it. There are some flaws on the tank, front fender, side battery cover and bluing on the chrome exhaust pipes. I spilled brake fluid on the front fender years ago, I stepped on the side battery cover and recently (while rebuilding a leaking petcock) I dropped the tank and put a small dent in the side (see pictures). I also managed to discolor the pipes after getting it running from sitting a few years. I just replaced the battery, rebuilt the petcock, cleaned the cycle, put air in the original tires and road it around a bit. The cycle does idle around 800-1000 RPM. I just finished cleaning the carbs and now the cycle starts without the use of the choke. It does not stall when coming to a stop, or require the engine to be revved to keep it running. I'm going to continue working on the cycle to remove some of the bluing on the exhaust. I do have this cycle for sale locally - SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT to "end this listing" at anytime and sell it locally. This cycle has NO WARRANTY, it does have a clean title. It has never been in a wreck. The cycle must be picked up locally as I will not ship it (the buyer shall arrange all shipping if required). Payment must be paid in full before the cycle leaves my property. It will be sold with the original "bill of sale" I received when I bought it. Please, please, please come look at the cycle and/or send someone to check it out prior to bidding. I want the buyer to completely understand what they are buying. This cycle is all original, and will require new tires and a tuneup (has original plugs) for any lengthy ride. It was stalling and would not idle - but after I cleaned all four carbs it idles just fine and has power through the RPM range. The carbs were not real dirty, but did have varnish or some coating inside. I also changed the engine oil and oil filter, and tried to remove the bluing on the exhaust (it comes off, but takes too much time). I'm also adding more photos showing it at idle and with the latest miles. Again - if interested please come see it, or send someone. Thanks!
