Vehicle Detail

1969 Camaro V8 4-Speed X11 car with LOW RESERVE. This car is almost ready to drive but I still haven't actually started the motor yet. And it is advertised locally so I would like the right to end the auction at any time. This is a solid project in well above average condition. First of all I would like to tell you I live in Des Moines, IA 50321. My phone number is 515-250-9293. I do have a hoist in my shop so that you can inspect the car. Just call me ahead of time. I work a lot of hours and I don't have time for emails and texting. With that said I can't even begin to tell you the time and money spent on brand new parts that need to be installed. It has all new seat covers front and back with new foam already in the car and the dash pad. The 4-Speed is in the car with a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. It has brand new ceramic coated headers, new front springs and new leaf springs in the box, no mufflers. The wheels and tires are three years old with very few miles on them. They are 8-inch torque thrust wheels and BF Goodrich tires. When the car was born I believe it was lime green. There is two new floor pans for the front that only requires a very small portion (6X8 inches or so). This car ran and drove very nice three years ago. I will give you a list of some of the new parts that need to be installed but there is no way to remember everything. Such as: 4 wheel disc brakes, calipers, roters, pads, master cylinder booster, break lines, new gas tank and straps, headliner, carpet, and pad, door panels, kick panels, cardboard for the back window, etc. This car underneath and in the trunk is a very good car. There is a little bit of rust around the rear shock towers and I have the brand new metal to fix it. Needs installed. To the best of my knowledge I have all the stainless for the front and back window. But I need for you to come and look at this car so you are satisfied with all the parts. It looks to me like it has had new rear quarters at some time. They did a very good job. Needs a little attention on the inside of the rear quarter. See pictures. Has new clutch and brake pedals. It has a Saginaw 4-Speed. A friend mine had this car for several years. He bought all these parts to restore the car such as new GM front fenders. There is also a new aftermarket cowl hood. I pretty much have the whole car such as springs, hood hinges, drive shaft and the list just goes on. There could be something missing. I don't know. You will have to come look at it yourself. My friend told me that the motor in this car was a roller rocker motor. Anyway, it is a good car to finish. 1969 Camaros are highly sought after. That's not a secret. Thanks for your time. Give me a call and leave me a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. My number is 515-250-9293. Thank you. Some of the pictures didn't download. If you will call I will send them to you.
