This is one of the nice pick up trucks Ford produced. A real men's work horse. Never in a serious accident few bumps and hits on parking lots. This truck changed hands several times since new among corporate officer. Currently is in my name former president of the Co. We are electrical contractor for the passed 37 years and in construction business. I always liked this truck since new very powerful engine. 7.5 L and I believe 460cc and surprisingly economical to drive and that is due to overdrive transmission. This is a Rear Two Wheel Drive truck. Worth the extra expense to have a reputable body man to do the small body work and full paint job. Will look a million box for those like me who love the real man's trucks that no longer manufactured in todays market rather made with plastic and foam and cost you equivalent down payment for a house. I am going to list a few and most recent improvement repairs and parts installed on this truck and all receipts are available for inspection. (Receipts are not transferable are paid records of my Company). 4 New tires, A new Windshield, Front and back H/D shocks all hoses and belts, Tune up including ignition wires. New Battery Brakes done several years ago however since its been seating for the 8 months the brake lines system needs bleeding. Was fine I just discovered. The transmission serviced every 30,000 miles and the engine oil changed every 2000 miles believe it or not. The tail gate (over $1,600.00 value) is operation and new solenoid installed few months ago. However, one of the hydraulic lines leaking. You have to keep put oil in reservoir unless you willing to replace the bad hose. I highly recommend change both hoses for peace of mind. Ideal to tow your trailer for horses and equipment or your boat. The dashboard and headliner are like new there is rip at the bench seat as pictured. Also installed a year ago new aluminum pro series construction tool box and paid $249.00. (No tools included) This truck currently is NOT registered that means you can not take it for DRIVE TEST in open road. However after brakes lines bled can be driven in the back yard. You are welcome to bring a dealer license plates to test drive at your own risk. You MUST pay the full price before you take the pick up truck on road test NO EXEMPTIONS. The glove box removed since we changed the heater core and we never had a change to put it back and also we have a replacement tail tight for the right rear that needs as well to be installed. I just noticed rates below average score for this vehicle and the discrepancy is based on the odometer reading not been accurate. As I stated above this vehicle changed hand few times. The last time I registered in Andover DMV and changed the title to my name there is provision that requires to write the actual millage. Since the fuse were blown for the instrument panel I was not be able to read and write the correct and actual miles and I left it blank due to electronic odometer display. The DMV Personnel insist that I write down the mileage although the vehicle at the time had under 150,000 miles I said to her put down 200,000 miles because did not care and was truly no big deal to me. After I put the vehicle in the road and all electrical functions worked properly the actual mileage start shown on the odometer which was 169,XXX.00.
