Drove it once or twice a week usually from April to September. That’s me with my dog Lucky on the back. We normally wear helmets but for the photo, we took them off. Loved driving this bike, owned Honda’s since 1970 starting with the Honda 50, 305 dream, CB 350, Shadow She starts right up – the engine, drivetrain and major components are excellent shape. Some rust, pitting/flaking of chrome, etc. It needs some work – so if you are handy, you can bring this beauty back to life. Lots of spare parts to replace those that had a tendency to fail – Stator, fuel pump, starter motor, radiator and fan, etc. It needs a good detailing to bring out the brilliance of this bike. Owned it for 15 years, third owner. The bike was always garage kept according to the last and previous owner. I did the same. At night with all the “bling” lights on, it is a real show stopper. Starts right up – good old Honda engineering. The Aspencade is a much refined version of the Interstate model. LCD display, trip computer, digital gauges, electrically operated air pump for the shocks, 2 tone paint job, and a few other extras. BTW, it retailed at $5,700 for the Interstate and $6,900 for the Aspencade! Today, a top-of-the-line wing costs $30,000. I winterized this bike and put it on jack stands. I have a heated garage. Basically, I just rode it to work twice a week and took one or two long trips. Didn’t have to do much to it except basic maintenance. Great running bike. Always serviced by Joe’s Cycles in Broomall, PA. www.joescycles.co. If you are local to Media, PA, you are more than welcome to visit prior to bidding BASIC INFO 49,673 original miles New back tire Front and rear brakes overhauled last year New inspection (July, 2015) Oil and transmission fluid changed April of this year.
