1980 Chevy El CaminoRuns and drives great! I bought it last October, dumped about $1500.00 into it to drive it back to Colorado (which never happened) and now Im taking a job overseas so I need sell it. Make my hasty decision and poor planning work for you! Its a beefy ride and fun! It's running strong but needs some love to smooth it out and the inside need some attentionGood:Engine: is a Strong & runs like a champTransmission: T-400 rebuilt in October - has a Ratchet ShifterRebuilt Starter MotorReplaced Ignition Coil & ModuleOther Recent services includ brake bleed and fluid flush, oil filter changeBad:-Not really "bad" per se, but it needs a new muffler (crimped muffler is split wide open)-Needs new seat belts-The speedometer/odometer/dash panel needs fixing - I don't think anyone put any effort to swapping cables, etc...but PLEASE keep this in mind when looking at the Odometer reading!!Ugly:Headliner is in-tact but roughUpholstrey: its 35 years oldSome rust in the undercarriage - but normal for a car that has spent the last 35 years on the east coast but easily mitigated with a wire brush and some elbow grease.
