The K1200 S is powered by a transversely mounted 1157-cc four-cylinder inline engine with integrated transmission and is unique among sport bikes due to its overall concept in conjunction with the lightweight construction shaft drive. This bike was until recently one of the fastest and most technologically advanced motorcycles in the world. Is a life experience to own it. I purchased this bike to drive it back and forth during a film between Austin and Houston, and did these 200+ miles each week with extreme pleasure and comfort. I would recommend this bike to my best of friends, I don't think this bike will ever be beaten. The new models don't do it for me, I test drove the 1300S and I fund my bike to be more nimble, faster, lighter and more responsive from a mid-range than the new models. Of course the new model has more power but power isn't everything, I think this model has a better balance. This bike will adjust to one or two riders and self level the suspension to your optimal weight for damping and recoil. The bike will do a 0-60 of 2.8 seconds, and I can do that with my wife in back, we tried it once with a GPS. It is truly a magnificent combination of sport and touring.
