I have owned this car for 1 year. We recently purchased a Weekender model with the pop top so its time to let this one go to a new family. See last photo. This car is thoroughly checked out by Dublin and Tracy VW dealers who have maintained it sense before we purchased it from them last year. It has a strong engine (better than the one in my other EuroVan) and has performed well no matter what I through at it. The transmission is also strong but there is a noticeable whine from it at speeds above 50 MPH but that is fairly normal for one with this many miles on it. It shifts fine, doesn’t slip, and the van accelerates great up the Altamont Pass. This van has lots going for it including a towing hitch and a high-end Pioneer Premier stereo with Orion amp (Bluetooth, USB, HD Radio, detachable face). Please see the photos for condition. The interior and exterior have been used but are in great condition. In the last year I have put in new tires; new front windshield, new drive bearing, new CV joint boots, and new floor coverings (see photos). We have changed the oil twice just to be nice to it, and repaired the sliding door panel so that it does not pop off as these models commonly do. Please note that there is chipping of the paint on the front of the car, so we are providing a factory vial of touch-up paint (color is "Dragon Green"). Also note that the cruise control does not work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
