Im sellling my 1975 BMW r90/6. After having owned it for four years and can say without hesitation that it is one of the best out of the approx one dozen bikes Ive owned. It has been maintained by a certified BMW Technician and is utlerly reliable. *The engine has 90Kmi with a top end rebuild at 60Kmi. The engine is unusually torquey, strong and powerful for this series. Mechanically its only quibble is a very very slow fuel leak in the left Bing carburetor. Cosmetically the bike is a medium red with some small nicks and a one inch by one half inch chip on the back of the front fender. There is a nickel sized, shallow dent on the side of the tank with no paint cracking. The seat will probably need replacing, as it has been modified by myself for my own personal preferences. The tires, Avon road riders, are at 3/4 life and wearing very well. The brakes are excellent. The clutch is strong and grabs very well. The suspension rides beautifully. If you're looking for a dependable and enjoyable example of air head riding pleasure, this is it. This bike is meant to be ridden, and ride it you will.
