SOLID SOUTHERN V-8 SHORT BED TRUCK….PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!! GREAT COLOR COMBINATION....RED AND WHITE 1978 FORD F-100 TRUCK RANGER XLTSHORT BED Original unrestored 1978 Ford F100 Ranger XLT in good condition. Truck shows 8581 miles on odometer (I would assume it is 108,581 miles). Truck has a 302 2bbl v-8 and automatic transmission. Engine runs good, and transmission shifts well. Truck came with power steering and air conditioning (air is all there, just needs converting). Body is in great shape - body panels are straight and fit well. Body mounts and Cab Corners are in good shape. Bed is solid with minor surface rust (see photos). Paint still has a good shine, it has vaious chips and scratches. Race track trim is in good condition. You can drive this truck just like it is....very nice looking original truck. Interior is complete, dash pad has a crack, Seat and carpet are new. Passenger Door Panel is broken by handle. Ignition switch does not work right, you turn the key on and push a button to crank, it works fine. It has a rear sliding back glass. Truck was built at Norfolk, Virginia and factory color is two tone white and red. The undercarriage is in good, clean shape. This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck that needs little body work and little mechanical work. Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures.
