1961 GMC 1/2 Ton Short Bed Pickup. Big Rear Window, Dark Blue paint, Custom "Boss Wheels with new center Caps, Chevy Engine Runs, New Brakes & wheel cylinders,Brake Lines, Master cylinder, I have removed the old wood in the bed in prep for new, all windows are original withno cracks and they roll up and down, new air cleaner unit with foam filter. Truck has small dent on driver side of bed just forward of bumper and a rust spot on the lower rear of passengerside door. Speaker cut-outs inside lower door panels. The grill has a dent over the driver side headlights and in the center but I am including a straight grillwith wiring and headlight with the deal. Paint is old, cracked and needs to be redone. I have only driven the truckfrom the shipping trailer to my garage but the engine sounds good.I do not know the condition of the transmission but it drives (although it does need a new shift linkage). the steering column needs bearings (apparentlyGMC columns do that) Over all the truck is in pretty good condition and you can see by the pictures that it looks pretty cool.I bought it as a mild project and unfortunately I am selling because I have little time and other interests now.I also have service manuals and 61 GMC catalogs and New Hemming's catalogs.I bought the truck in Visalia, Caand as far as I know it is a West Coast Truck.Local pick up unless you can convince me that helping you ship it will be very easy.
