1974 Ford LTD Brougham 74,300 Original Miles This is a rare survivor in great condition considering its 41 years old. Mechanical; Runs great, drive it anywhere. No leaks or knocks, rides like a Cadillac, smooth n quiet. Always starts,very reliable, more reliable than my 2014 Focus! Body: Sheet metal is super straight and solid, no bents or wrecks. One small rust spot by rear door (2 inches maybe). Vinyl top tattered but all there, no rust under. Paint is not bad, hood and front fenders were repainted at some point and have faded compared to the rest of the original paint which shines nice. Interior: Very clean. Original upholstery in excellent condition, no tears and very little wear. Dash is nice, one crack above glove box. Carpet is good, worn on drive side near door sill. Recent work done (in last three months): New tires ($400), new front brakes and rotors and bearings, Brake system flushed and bled. New power steering pump. Tune-up (plugs, wires, cap n rotor, air and gas filters) Oil and filter change. Radiator flush and fill. Things that don't work: A/C needs a charge otherwise heater, fan and controls work fine. AM Radio, I have two, both not working (both included in auction). Steering wheel controls for horn and cruise control - both systems work but the buttons on the wheel don't work.
