Very clean, beautiful unmolested Mercedes-Benz 1958 219 Sedan, originally owned by the German Embassy in Rio. Imported by a Senator from Vermont, eventually ended up in a show room of a dealership for years, then purchased by a gentleman named Frederick Grant in Virginia. I purchased this car from him in 2009. Beautiful original leather, the doors close with the classic thunk! The classic gangster car in the old Bond movies - a definite head turner! My goal was to restore it, but I simply do not have the time for it. Too many other projects. Mercedes-Benz Type 219 Owner's Manual & Catalog B 1958 (shows all parts of the car in diagram) included as well as large spare parts catalog for 219 The Bad: * needs fuel pump rebuilt (original and replacement fuel pump INCLUDED) and fuel line to carburetor replaced* brakes are sticking, needs new tires, battery, paint job* windshield has a crack* exhaust is suspended with zip-locks as the rubber came apart Perfect for full restoration. Standing for a few years, moved it out of the garage last year. Engine will turn over with charged battery. Four on the tree manual. Sold AS IS.
