Up for auction is our 2005.5 New Jetta 2.5 liter 5 cylinder manual transmission. I purchased this vehicle in December of 2005 brand new from Don Jacobs VW in Lexington, KY. The vehicle has been garaged ever since purchased and is in very good cosmetic condition considering its age. The vehicle has rubber mats and I believe it is called the economy package. The tires ave plenty of life left on them and two have been purchased within the last 4 months. The clutch was changed 15000 miles ago when the vacuum pump was replaced so plenty of life left on it. The radio led screen is out but everything functions properly on the radio and 6 disk cd changer. The radio station can be viewed on the dash where mileage can be seen. The car has two key fobs with hard heyd on them and the valet key. The airbag light is on which is a common flaw with Jett's due to the fact they made the wiring harness too short for the passenger seat. The fobs keyless entry however is not programmed because the dealers just wanted too much. 3 months ago it had a complete tune up and runs as peppy as ever. It is a manual and actually with its 5 cylinder engine has plenty of power to spare and is fun to drive. The trunk is massive. The headliner was professionally replaced last year and looks near new. No cracked windows and all the power windows and power locks, gas latch and trunk work great. It gets about 365 miles per tank of gas. Rides great and quiet. Never been in any wrecks and the frame and body are in excellent condition despite normal wear. There is I slight almost unnoticeable dent under the front passenger side door more on the underneath. The ac will freeze you out. The speakers work great. No smoker has ever smoked in it and no u pleasurable oder. The engine is clean and not one drip of oil or fluid on the pavement. Owners manual is complete. Title is in hand and ready to sign over. You are more than welcome to come by and look at and test drive prior to bidding and I welcome anyone's mechanic to attempt to find anything wrong with it mechanically. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty but I would jump into it and drive it anywhere in the country without the least bit of hesitation. This car has been awesome to us and has many many more miles left in it. Please inquire about anything.
