High bidder wins. This car runs and drives good, and the All-Wheel-Drive system works great; The engine has lots of power, it idles very smooth and the transmission shifts like it should. The car has very low miles, just over 50k, with a near perfect exterior, no dents or scratches anywhere, but a minor shopping cart ding or two and a couple of small scratches on the roof. The right side lower plastic rocker cover is damaged when it went over the curb; that's only a $300 part new from Mercedes, but costs much less aftermarket. I found a used one here on Ebay for only $75 a while back but have since decided to just sell the car and let someone else enjoy this nice car. The interior is in great shape as well for an 11-year old car. No check-engine light. See pictures below. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT ON THE CAR, NAVIGATION, A/C, HEAT, POWER WINDOWS, POWER SEATS, HEATED SEATS, HEATED STEERING WHEEL, HARMAN KARDON SYSTEM, POWER SUNROOF, ETC, ETC, ETC.Options:* 5.0L V-8 with 4-Matic (all wheel drive).* Push button engine start.* AirMatic (automatic load leveling air suspension), works good, car goes up and down like it should when buttons are pressed.* Perforated leather seats that are both heated and cooled with MASSAGE and memory feature. * Power moonroof, power rear window screen, power rear headrest release.* Factory Navigation * Michelin performance tires which have about 90% tread left (All 4).* Heated steering wheel with power tilt and power telescopic function.* Harman Kardon sound system.* Dual climate control for front passengers AND dual climate control for rear passengers. A/C and heat work great.* The original headlights were cloudy so the headlights were updated to new style projection HID lamps with LED daytime running lights about 6 months ago at a cost of about $750 per headlight (see pictures). Also, an AMG style bumper with fogs and AMG grille were added at that time as well. Both tail lights are also newer LED style. Condition and Known issues: My wife jumped a curb when she slid in the snow this past winter but she drove the car home and we have been driving it since. We have since purchased a new car and no longer wish to fix and keep this one. Car runs and drives but in order for it to be 100% correct, it needs an alignment, which cannot be done until the suspension issue is resolved. Also, the SRS light is on, no airbags were deployed, but the passenger seat belt is locked (daughter was in the car) and needs to be repaired or replaced. There is a noise in the right rear corner when going over bumps...sounds like a loose or broken stabilizer link, sway bar bushing or at worst case the strut is bad, probably also as a result of going over the curb. The brake pad wear indicator is lit due to the front brake pads being a bit worn but still have about 1/8" of material left. Brake pads are $40 new at any part store. There is also a message on the display with a fault to the AirMatic system probably due to the rear strut damage. A local shop has looked at the car and could not tell exactly which suspension item needs to be replaced, so they gave me a "worst case estimate" which is as follows, but again the repair may or may not be this extensive, it may be a simpler repair; I don't know and the mechanic was not sure. At worst case, he said it may need the following parts which I've taken the time to find ALL here on Ebay and have compiled this list for the new future owner:Lower control arm, upper control arm, steering knuckle, right front strut and brake pads, $1800-2200 (using all new parts). eBay item numbers: 311397316442, 310778404611, 311355500412, 281194996041, 371353934347, 251601978986 ($1,200 in parts, about $800 labor at most). Plus 4-wheel alignment. Wheels are not bent or damaged. For the rear noise when going over bumps, at worst case it may or may not need a rear strut $439 (Ebay item number: 151227488155). The car is being sold As Is, with all Known and Unknown issues as described above, and the buyer assumes all costs for repairs. The car can be driven on the road and I have driven it like this for a couple months on short trips. But because of the suspension issue and for legal purposes, I will state that I recommend the car to be towed; I've been driven it at up to 75MPH (legal local limit) without issue, but that's entirely up to you.
