1987 VW Vanagon Sellers Note.... Please send me a message with your number and I will call you back to answer all questions. I am willing to ship this to your location. This van was in storage for over 5 years and had not been started. I emptied and cleaned the fuel tank. I put in new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new fuel injectors, and changed the oil. The van started right up, but does not seem to have full power. I ran a compression test on each cylinder and the compression is very strong. Over 100 on each cylinder. My best guess is the the timing is not right, or there is a vacuum leak. I drove the van and the transmission shifts smoothly. There are also several exhaust leaks. This vehicle was originally a Texas vehicle and has very very little rust. Just a few rust spots where the paint is chipped. There is one scratch on the drivers side, but other than that the body is in excellent shape. The interior is very clean. The windshield has NO chips or cracks. The dashboard is also perfect. This van has a clean title. The speedometer is not working.
