1972 BMW Bavaria transmission: automatic color: Fjord Blue (037) Selling it AS-IS, for parts, though with some work it could be back not the streets again. No warranty or guarantees. The car runs well, but needs some work before it can be safely driven. This car likes to go fast, and is happy on the highway. I’m hoping someone with more time than I have now can save it from the graveyard. The body has some rust, and last year some neighborhood kids keyed most of the body. Needs a paint job for sure. the car needs to be towed: There is no AC, and the driver’s side window regulator is broken, so another reason not to drive it. Additionally, its registered in MA, and the registration has expired. It pulls to the right when braking, though the calipers and rotors were recently changed. Its been sitting on the Brooklyn streets for a while, and only driven around the block to find parking spaces (alternate side parking routine). more details: The interior is in good shape, aside from the driver’s seat rip, the crack in the instrument panel plastic, and some letters on the dashboard have fallen off. Original head, no warping. Dual webbers, Rebuilt radiator, additional pusher fan on a heat switch in addition to the standard fan, but the car hasn’t run hot since the radiator swap. The chrome trim pieces that have come off are all saved an in the trunk. I am also including an oil filter assembly to replace the stock one, which makes changing filters much much easier. Never got around to installing it, so it comes with the car. Some other odds and ends in the trunk. Again, this should be towed, and is being sold as a parts car. AS-IS. Its registered in MA, and the plates go back to the MA RMV. I will include a bill of sale. I am selling locally, and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
