I am moving and must find a new home for my "bucket" list 1957 Coupe DeVille. The motor, transmission, brakes, belts, etc. are all in great condition. The interior was redone several years ago, and still looks awesome. Door panels, headliners and carpet are as new. The exhaust and tires are also new. All of the headlights, blinkers, windows work well. The power antennae is up but isn't working. The radio is also not working...the light comes on but no sound. It was repainted back in the early 70's and it was changed from I believe a rose color to a blue. The trunk has not been redone. The car was driven less than a 76k in more than 50 years. The car starts quickly and runs smoothly down the road. I have the receipt for the $4100 I spent this month to replace the crankshaft, camshaft, oil pump, etc. to make sure it was good to go on the road again. The carburetor was overhauled, the tank has been dropped and lined as well as an electric fuel pump. The plans were to get into the paint shop next. The most exciting thing is that you rarely find a car than spent its driving life in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. It belonged to a car collector in Fargo, ND before I brought it back to Texas again. This car is fun to drive, you get lots of questions and it reminds us all of what America once was...
