All body parts were professionally repainted with show quality finish with original paint. All the labels and markings are under the clear coat. The only label missing is the emission label originally placed on the top of the gas tank.The bike is equipped with euro-style sport handlebars and pegs. The motorcycle was parked for a long time before I bought it and its history was not disclosed to me.• Front suspension was completely rebuilt with all new parts. • Engine received new head and new valves as there was a bit of pitting in the valve seats, probably due to long term parking. • Carburetors were rebuilt by Old School Carbs. • Ignition was replaced with Dyna S ignition with new Dyna coils and new spark wires. • Clutch was modified by TIMS CBX to remove rubber parts which were replaced with springs. • Brand new 4-brush starter (TIMS CBX).• New alternator (TIMS CBX).• Wheels from 1981 CBX. • High friction EBC rotors and brake pads. • Stainless braided front break lines.• New Nissin racing master cylinder. • New chain and sprockets• Rear shocks are custom Wilbers made in Germany specifically for this bike.• Included a box of valve shims. The new owner will have an option of receiving bike with installed Kerker header with Supertrap silencer or brand new replica of the original exhaust. Bike is in perfect running condition. All original (and working) parts are included with the purchase.• original wheels• original rotors• original break master cylinder• original starter• original alternator• original center stand I also have a lot of spare parts which I could negotiate excellent price for if a buyer is interested.Some of those are rare: - cylinder and pistons from a crashed CBX with only 6500 km (!)- brand new main power transfer chain (not available anymore, anywhere)- spare gauges- complete front suspension from 80 CBX with stronger fork tubes and 2 piston calipers There is small amount of rust at the bottom of the frame. The buyer is responsible to pickup and shipping. I will help with preparation of the bike and loading.
