Vehicle Detail

For sale C2 Corvette. Runs and drives and brakes good. I have rebuilt the AC system, replaced the bearings in the steering colum. I rebuilt the two Demon carbs the engine and replaced the stack with lower foam filtered units. It starts and runs/idles good. This car looks more extreme than it is. If you have any questions, just ask. $500.00 deposit within 24hr after the vehicle is won. The balance is due within 7 days after the vehicle is won. I can store the vehicle until pickup can be arranged. The car is in storage right now. I will get it out tomorrow and take more photos. On Jul-11-15 at 17:25:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I just had someone ask me about the reserve. I'm not going to say what that is, but I can tell you it's not over $30,000. This car doesn't have the original engine and I don't know if the rear or trans are original. I'll post the engine pics and the engine number/trans number tomorrow. On Jul-14-15 at 09:06:46 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added some more photos. Someone asked me about the headlights. I added a photo looking down the open hood at the 4 headlights. These lights face down, not out as normal. As such it would be crazy to drive this car at night. I have had the car for a couple of years and in that time (driving to events and cruzing with my Vette club) I have never used the car at night. I have never tried to operate the headlights. The old power switch for the headlights to pop up is there as well as the lights on switch. I added a photo of some parts that come with the car, 4 shocks, rear leaf spring end links, front sway bar end links (polyurethane) rear strut rods with new bushings (polyurethane) camber bolts, lower rear shock mounts. Not in the photos are replacement rear black covers to replace the ones that have speakers mounted in them, and a new grab handle bezel. I added more photos of the body and one showing the rear pin stripping signature, done in 1984. This car has been kept indoors for years and the paint shows it. The paintjob is over 30 years old, but looks real good. The photo of the rear window has a line from water running off the car. This isn't a crack or a scratch, it can be wiped off. I just added some images of the engine. I don't know what engine this is. I can tell you the block/heads are from after 1968. The engine starts and idles smooth, no lopy idle. I don't think this engine is a radical build, just a tame build with an eye catching intake. It has a MSD electric distributor without a tach drive, so the tach isn't hooked up. The tach cable is still there, resting on the rear of the intake. I don't know what CFM the Demon carbs are.
