Vehicle Detail

2004 Chevrolet Venture LS with Braun Entervan Conversion We have used this van to transport our son's wheelchair for the last couple of years. If you're looking for inexpensive transportation for a power chair, this is a great option. The van starts and runs reliably and has been regularly maintained since we've had it, but it is high mileage and shows a good bit of wear. We purchased it used in 2013. We have purchased a newer wheelchair van and no longer need this one. Accessibility FeaturesAutomatic, remote operated sliding doors and ramp (all functioning, with two remotes)Ramp can also be operated manuallySeating for 5 plus a wheelchair with L Track tiedowns, full set of tiedowns and seatbelt extender included for wheelchair useFront seats are removable for wheelchair passengers (we have not used this feature, but the seats are shown in pictures)Ramp has been maintained by local Braun dealerVan details:Starts and runs strong, recent battery replacement/electrical system checkup and regular maintenance. Passed VA state safety inspection within the past yearGray cloth interior, carpeted flooringAC blows cold, separate climate controls front and rearAM/FM/CD/MP3 playerPower doors, locks, windows and rampFull size spare tire (see pictures)Issues:Fuel gauge does not work. (since we only drive around town we just get gas every couple hundred miles)Large scratch down passenger side (van was keyed sometime before we owned it) We've touched up the scratch with appropriate paint from the dealer, but it is still visible. See picturesSuspension - this was original a "kneeling" van with air shocks. The feature had been disabled when we got the van and we have not had it fixed. We had new conventional shocks installed in 2014. This has worked fine for us, but the van has less ground clearance than it would with the OEM air shocks.Overall, this is a great, economical solution for someone who needs to move a wheelchair user from time to time or for someone with the ability to fix up its few shortcomings and make it a daily driver.
